Miami Dysport Treatments
Dysport, also referred to as Botulinum Toxin, is injected into muscles to create a taut skin appearance. Botulinum toxin doses can be used for cosmetic purposes but should be monitored by a licensed health provider. Dysport treatments are only authorized to be given by doctors, nurses, and other trained cosmetic professionals. Dysport shots are to be given at least 90 days apart. Injections can, however, be given in more than one location at a time.
An alternative to Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport is injected directly into muscles to improve firmness. Dysport treatments must be administered by a physician or nurse. Patients can develop a resistance to Dysport resulting in the need for more frequent treatments. Because of this, it is imperative to space treatments out by at least 90 days and only be treated by one medical professional.
Patients often love the results they get from Dysport motivating them to repeat injections sooner than prescribed. Doing so can result in serious health consequences and less success with future injections. Dysport can cause serious health consequences if treatment restrictions are not followed.
