Dr. Mendieta prefers to inject the fat in pearl-sized drops into different layers of the muscles and fat, starting with the deepest layer. By doing so, the fat cells are closer to a blood supply and are more likely to survive the transfer. Ideal candidates for butt enlargement with fat transfer are typically between a size eight and 12.
