What is Fat Grafting?
Fat grafting (aka: Fat Transfer) is a more natural way to enhance areas of the body than using implants. Fat grafting uses a patient’s own excess fat to enhance breasts, the butt, calves, face, lips, etc. This aesthetic technique is also utilized for reconstructive surgery.
How Does Fat Grafting Work?
Every fat grafting case is unique. Therefore, this requires surgeons to create individualized approaches for their patients. According to a 2012 report from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), this reshaping technique is at its height: “Renewed interest in techniques using the patient’s own fat for cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery has been noted in recent years. In these procedures, fat harvested from one part of the body is transferred to other areas- for example, fat obtained from the thighs using liposuction has been used for breast augmentation and reshaping.”*
As the fat transfer method grows in popularity, be sure to keep in mind how important it is to find a qualified surgeon to perform your procedure.*
Fat Transfer to Buttocks is Exclusive to Each Patient
At my practice, patients may anticipate excellent butt enhancement results after undergoing my signature 3D fat transfer technique, “Highlight Liposculpting and Lipo Fat Transfer.”* As a world-renowned Miami butt enhancement surgeon, I understand that not only does every individual have a unique shape and size; but fat grafting (aka: fat harvesting, cell processing, fat transplantation) itself is a delicate and complex procedure. This is why I conduct a thorough assessment of the patient’s body during his or her initial appointment. It is only through a comprehensive evaluation that I will learn of his or her problem areas.*
During this visit, I will fully consider your aesthetic goals; overall body contour; and buttock shape: The “A” Shape, The “V” Shape, The Round, or The Square.* No two bodies are alike.
That said, if you decide to go forth with buttock enhancement via the fat transfer technique, you will have a surgical plan designed specifically for you.*
